Jaspreet and Shivi began their forever with a joyous Sikh wedding, full of faith, colour and Punjabi spirit, and Dipak Studios was there to capture every moment. The day opened with a spirited baraat as Jaspreet, in an ivory sherwani and a bright red turban, rode in on a decorated white horse under ceremonial chhatris, with dhol beats and dancing family all around him. Shivi looked breathtaking in a classic red and gold bridal lehenga, her kundan jewellery and nath glowing as she got ready for the most sacred part of the day. The heart of the celebration was the Anand Karaj, the Sikh wedding ceremony held in the presence of the Guru Granth Sahib. With the sangat seated around them, the couple took the four Laavan, the holy rounds that bind two souls in a lifelong spiritual union, as the ragis sang the hymns and Shivi held the palla that joined her to Jaspreet. The prayers, the Ardaas and the warm blessings of both families gave the ceremony a calm, soulful beauty that we captured with care. After the Anand Karaj, Jaspreet and Shivi stepped out for portraits full of laughter, tender glances and quiet moments that show just how happy they are together. As experienced Sikh wedding photographers in Delhi, Dipak Studios is honoured to tell the story of Jaspreet and Shivi, a wedding rooted in tradition and built on love, together, always.
